Employee Referral Policy (for Referring Agents or Clients to Redwood)

Here is the policy when an employee is recruiting/referring an agent to Redwood:

Effective August 15, 2023: Redwood Employees (Except EVP/MPM) qualify for a $1,000 bonus (after the agent closes one sale or listing transaction with Redwood) when they provide a warm handoff to our EVPs to meet with an experienced or new agent that has proactively agreed that they are open to a meeting to learn more about CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty. To qualify for this bonus, Redwood Employees are required to complete this form PRIOR to recruiting meetings with our staff. This form will create a record that can be verified by our processing team. Bonuses will not be paid to Employees who do not fill out this form or have a Recruiting/Instructor Bonus in their compensation already. In the event, we are already actively engaged with the recruit, the employee will not be eligible for a bonus. The bonus will be paid through payroll.

Here is the policy when an employee is referring leads to Redwood (Outgoing Referral Policy):

  • Outgoing Referrals- Placed inside Anywhere Leads Network
    • 21% Referral fee to Redwood Referring Employee- No Franchise fee and no agent split. Referral paid at 100%. If the employee does not have a real estate license under Redwood, the employee not be eligible for bonus.
  • Outgoing Referrals- Placed outside Anywhere Leads Network
    • If an employee places an outgoing referral outside the Relocation Department, the referral commission will be subject to a 14% referral side commission penalty. (for example: referral fee agreement of 30%, 14% penalty, 16% to agent). If the employee does not have a real estate license under Redwood, the employee not be eligible for bonus.
