How do I book an event?
First, contact your ASM or EVP to check on availability.
Can I use any Redwood office?
Yes. As a Redwood agent, you can use any Redwood office! CLICK HERE to learn more about capacity, logistics, policies per Redwood office.
Who do I contact to hold an event at an office other than my “primary” office?
Work with your ASM if you want to hold an event at another office other than your primary office. They will help you coordinate with the team at the office of your choice to make sure that the space is available. Some offices have fees for the use of certain rooms or weekend hours.
Will Redwood and Highland Title sponsor my event as an individual agent?
No. We wish we could sponsor all of our agents’ events but unfortunately, that is just too much. Agents should plan on using their own marketing funds to pay for these events. We will provide an awesome venue and our staff is available to help you promote these events to grow your business.
What type of event will Redwood and Highland sponsor?
Office-organized events that benefit the majority of the agents in your office! Our EVPs are given a budget for office supplies, sales meetings, happy hours, and 1 or 2 planned client or charity events a year. This budget does include sponsorship money from Highland. If you want your office to hold 1 or 2 annual client appreciation events that benefit the entire office, please work with your EVP and ASM. If your budget for the large-scale event is more than the office budget given, participating agents can pool together additional funds. An example of this would be Santa at the offices. Redwood could pay for Santa and drinks and agents could pool funds for food.
If I partner with a small group of other agents will Redwood pay for my event?
For Redwood to assist with events, the majority of the office needs to be included. Funds used will have to benefit the majority of the agents and not just a small group.
My go-to lender or title company will pay for my event, can I host my event at a Redwood office?
Our company is an enterprise that includes brokerage, mortgage, lender, and insurance. Inviting competing vendors into our house can be disruptive to our culture. As an example, you would not invite a chef into another chef’s restaurant to cook for guests. Please be considerate of our core partners.
Do I have to clean up after my event?
Yes! Our ASMs are great but are not hired to clean up after a party. You may work with your ASM to see if they could schedule an additional cleaning from our cleaner for a small fee. This option may not be available at some of our offices in the larger buildings where the cleaning is managed by the building Property Manager.
What hours can I hold my event?
Any events outside of office hours must be coordinated with your EVP and/or ASM. Some offices have charges for weekend use or certain rooms. These charges are to be paid by the agent.
We ask that events be held between the hours of 9 AM – 9 PM.
What does it cost to hold my event?
For our offices in buildings managed by Property Management companies, some space reservation utility, staff or weekend fees apply. These fees are to be billed to the agents booking the event. Please talk to your ASM if you have any questions or concerns before booking.
Do I need any special licenses, permits, or insurance for my event? (ie, ABC license)
Please check with your ASM to have them determine whether the office landlord or City/County requires one or multiple. We Insure offers event insurance if required! It is important to note, some local vineyards or breweries may have you complete a form for their Food and Beverage license.
Is there a sample checklist available that outlines the key steps for planning and hosting an event?
Here is a customizable checklist for planning your event: Client Appreciation Checklist. This Google Doc will prompt you to make a copy, allowing you to modify it based on your event needs.
