Compensation Change Process (Internal Corporate View Only)

This is for Corporate - Commissions View Only when an agent has a compensation change.


Field Process:

  1. For changing compensation, field staff will need to go to agentupdate.c21redwood.com link. (They can select to complete the paperwork or have the Commissions team execute the paperwork on their behalf.)
  2. If the field staff have completed the paperwork, they will send the executed copy through the same Agent Update Form link. Once received, proceed to the Commission Process below.
  3. If the field staff indicated that they want the Commissions team to execute the paperwork or the request was sent via Slack message, follow these steps:
      • Go to Compensation Change board in Monday.com and manually enter the agent information.
      • Go to Pandadoc and start filling out the appropriate Compensation Rider based on the information provided on the Agent Update Form.

  1. Once completed, get an approval before sending the paperwork for signature.
  2. Proceed to the Commission Process below once you have received the fully signed paperwork in HelpScout.

Commission Process:

  1. Receive the agent update form email
      • Go to Compensation Change board in Monday.com and update the fields.
      • Note: If the compensation change request was sent via email or slack message, create a new entry.
  2. Upload the ICA and Rider in agent’s paperless file and label: “ICA and Commission Rider Updated MM.YYYY”
  3. Enter in darwin
      1. Find the agent profile
      2. Change the anniversary date if applicable from the “Agent Basics” tab
      3. Go to Commission tab
        1. Change the plan dropdown to the commission plan that matches the commission rider.
        2. Change the box for the deduct3 row under % percentage column to match the company split on the commission rider
        3. Change the box for the deduct3 row under $ cap column to match the Annual cap dollar amount from the commission rider (this is the maximum cap to be reached. Agent is on 100% split after the max cap is reached and split will reset again on the next anniversary date)
        4. In the commission notes box (agent specific commission reminder to popup before closing), move down the most recent comments to the bottom of the screen
        5. Copy and paste the template of the notes from this link based on the new plan: Entering Commission Plans Template
        6. Fill in the blanks field and change any applicable information for the agent.
        7. Go to custom fields tab then fill in the threshold low or threshold high for sliding cap and update the transaction fee field if applicable.
        8. Go to Agent Active Roster and update the following fields if applicable: commission plan, commission split, company $ cap and transaction fee.
        9. Go to Ascend Roster (for Ascend graduates only) and update the graduation date and agent status fields.
  4. Send a confirmation to the field staff once the change has been made on the back end so they can check the dashboard as well.
