How do I bookmark multiple sites so that they open all at once (in Google Chrome)?

If you're using Google Chrome for browsing the web, follow this guide to learn how to create a folder of bookmarks that can be opened all at once.

No matter what kind of work you do on the web, we all have a set of common websites and tools that we use every day. Everyone knows that you can create bookmarks of your favorite sites, but did you know that you can also create lists of bookmarks that can be opened all at once?

Creating your list (folder) of bookmarks

To begin, create a new window that has no open tabs.

Next, create a new tab (click on File > New Tab), and open one of your favorite sites in it. Repeat this step for as many tabs as you want to save into your list. There is no limit to the number of tabs you can have open. This is what my screen looks like right now:

Once you have all the tabs open that you want to save, click the horizontal ellipsis button at the right-hand side of the window (it’s pictured below):

Click on this button, click on Bookmarks, and then click on Bookmark Open Pages… This will open a modal called Bookmark All Tabs, pictured below.

Just give your folder a name and click Save. I’m going to call mine “Demo.”

Opening your folder of bookmarks

Once you’ve created your list, you’ll find it on your bookmark bar. This is what mine looks like:

To open them all at once, just right-click on the folder name and click Open All in New Window.
