How to Transfer your Maryland License to Redwood or apply for a Maryland License

To transfer a Maryland license to Redwood, follow the instructions below.

First, use this link to register for an Online account with DLLR or to login.

Select Change your Information Status
Select Make the following Changes Online- Electric Licensing
You will be prompted to the DLLR login page where you will need to
- Select if you are a salesperson or associate Broker
- Your Registration Number This is your license number
- Your Pin/Password: If you forget there is a Forget Pin/Password Button
Once you are in you in you will go to transfer your license
- You will need the Principal Broker’s Registration Number which is: 656031 and then select an office assignment number (01, 02 or 03)
- MD – 670179 (Main Branch in Arlington)
- MD – 656031 – 01 DC Branch
- MD – 656031 – 02 Frederick Branch
- MD – 656031 – 03 N. Bethesda Branch
Pay for your transfer online

Select Apply for an Original License
You will be prompted to the DLLR login page where you will need to
- Select if you are a Salesperson or Association Broker
- Input Your Registration Number which is the license number you receive after you pass your exam
- Your Pin/Password: If you forget there is a Forget Pin/Password Button
Once you are in you in you will apply for your license
- You will need the Principal Broker’s Registration Number which is: 656031 and
- You will need the Principal Broker’s Registration Number which is: 656031 and then select an office assignment number (01, 02 or 03)
