Private Exclusives
Redwood agents have access to Final Offer’s network of listings, and RealScout and Anywhere will be coming soon.
Redwood’s position: Only use private exclusives when it is in your client’s best interest. Common use cases include when sellers want privacy, testing the market, and preparing a listing. The Private Exclusive Addendum to the Listing Agreement form must be used in these cases.
Don’t forget! When activating a private exclusive in BrightMLS, you must update your listing settings so the listing populates on IDX feeds!
For more information on office exclusives and BRIGHT’s policies regarding them, check out their helpful guide.

ACM - March 18-19 Federal Reserve Meeting — 3 Takeaways for Real Estate Pros:
- Fed Funds Rate: The Fed held rates constant at its 2nd meeting of the year in March.
- Quantitative Tightening: The Fed will begin slowing the pace of balance sheet reduction in April. This means the Fed will be active buyers in the bond market, replenishing a high percentage of their expiring bond securities.
- Long-term interest rates, like those on mortgages, are determined in the bond market
- The Fed being buyers in the bond market increases demand, which increases prices, which in turn lowers the rate offered and hence RATES – in theory
- 2025 Updated Fed Forecast: The updated forecasts, where economic growth was revised downward and inflation upward, are conflicting. Typically, movements in growth and inflation tend to move in the same direction. The conflicting nature of these forecasts makes it hard for the Fed to take decisive action in either tightening or loosening monetary policy. It will take more time to make data-driven decisions to change the direction of monetary policy substantially
