Getting Started with RentSpree

This guide outlines how to process rental applications using RentSpree, an online tool included with your Bright subscription that streamlines tenant screening and replaces Redwood's previous in-house application process.


Redwood no longer processes rental applications. You can process rental applications through RentSpree instead.

Why Rentspree

With RentSpree, agents can collect lease applications as well as credit, criminal, and eviction reports on prospective tenants through an online portal. The whole process is performed online and results are returned in a matter of minutes. You can gather completed rental applications, as well as credit, criminal, and eviction reports for prospective tenants.  This saves time by not having to worry about sending over rental applications or delivering application fees to the office. The tenant(s) pays for the application fee online.

What is RentSpree?

RentSpree is an online rental application and tenant screening solution that is available for Bright subscribers. RentSpree is easy-to-use and helps agents streamline the tenant verification process.  

RentSpree is included as part of your Bright subscription!  Prospective tenants/applicants will pay a fee for the screening reports.

What Paperwork do I submit to Redwood?

Check this guide to see the required forms per Jurisdiction and submit the applicable paperwork to the Processing Team. Please note that you must submit the Landlord Application Review Acknowledgement if the landlord is accepting the applicant.
