Redwood Standby Squad

We’ve got your business covered when you can’t be there!

The Redwood Standby Squad is a network of licensed Redwood agents who support one another with open houses, showings, inspections, settlements, and more. This collaborative approach ensures clients continue to receive excellent service — even when their primary agent is unavailable — while also providing participating agents with opportunities to gain experience and earn additional income.

1. How to Opt Out

All agents are now automatically subscribed to the Redwood Standby Squad distribution list (redwoodstandbysquad@c21redwood.com).

If you prefer not to be included, please use the Standby Squad Sign Up and Opt Out Form to remove yourself. If you change your mind later, you can opt back in at any time using the same form.

2. How to Send Coverage Requests

Any Redwood agent may use the Standby Squad distribution list to request help directly from participating Standby Squad members. Send requests to: redwoodstandbysquad@c21redwood.com

Please note:

  • Agents currently receive a custom bounce-back message when sending messages to distribution lists (e.g., arlington@c21redwood.com, stafford@c21redwood.com, fredericksburg@c21redwood.com), but the email is still being delivered.
  • After October 24, this message will no longer be delivered, and you will only receive a standard rejection notice.
  • For general inquiries such as seeking recommendations or advice, please use your Redwood Office Facebook group or the Ask the Experts – Facebook page. If you have any questions about these changes, please contact your ASM or EVP.

Best Practice: When requesting Standby Squad support, send the email to yourself (or your ASM) and BCC redwoodstandbysquad@c21redwood.com to avoid reply-all chains and minimize inbox clutter.

4. Payment & Accountability

  • All payment terms must be agreed upon in writing before services are provided
  • Payment must be made within 48 hours of service completion
  • Disputes regarding compensation or service quality are the sole responsibility of the agents involved and must be handled directly
  • CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty is not a party to these peer-to-peer agreements and assumes no liability for payments, performance, or agent disputes
  • Redwood will not provide income or expense reporting for these transactions

5. Professional Standards

All Redwood Standby Squad participants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and integrity at all times. Standby Squad participation is a privilege that supports a culture of collaboration and mutual support.

Redwood reserves the right to review and address repeated complaints or unprofessional conduct involving Standby Squad members. This may include removal from the program if deemed necessary.
