Best Practices in Courted

Account Setup

Reach out to Support@c21redwood.com if you can't remember your account log in or if you need to get set up. Once Courted added you in the system, you will need to create your account with your Redwood email by going to this link: brokerage.courted.io/signup.

Finish Account Setup

  1. Change your Office Settings – By default, all officers will be displayed. To streamline your view, navigate to your Office Settings, select the checkbox beside the Offices you don’t manage and click on ‘Remove from office settings’ at the top of the list of Offices. A confirmation window will pop up with the message ‘Confirm bulk delete.’ Once confirmed, the selected officers will be removed from your account, leaving only the officers you manage.
  2. Input Key Benefits – These are the things we want to highlight about our brokerage in recruiting conversation and elaborate what makes Century 21 such a great fit. Go to Key Benefits click “Add Key Benefit” and either copy ones from someone on your team or create new ones.

Familiarize yourself with Agent Search

  1. Click on “Agent Search” (Search > Agent Search).
  2. Create a search for your ideal Agent Profile: Sales Volume (total, or just buy or list side), time in industry, current brokerage, etc., and save this search. We recommend adding one or two filters at a time to ensure the list has a decent number of agents on it.
  3. Create a search for your co-brokes: Mutual Connections = last 3 months, and save this search.
  4. Start working down the list and making some calls/sending some emails, using ComposeAI to help generate outreach scripts.
  5. If you want to make sure your Agent Search lists only include agents you have not already identified, ensure each search has Unassigned and No Status selected. That way, once you start assigning agents to yourself (tracking work), they will not appear in agent search, and you can exclusively use agent search to fill the top of your funnel.

Track your work in Courted

  1. Assign agents to yourself or a colleague (via the Prospect Management section of an agent’s profile).
  2. Log “interactions” and/or “Notes” and tag colleagues using the @ symbol.

Start using Courted for retention

  1. Congratulate all of your own agents on closed/pending transactions and new listings, as well as noteworthy accomplishments, via Manage > My Agents RE Activity and Agent Accomplishments.
  2. Create a retention analysis list: Go to Agent Search, filter to include “Agents in my office,” and select “No active or pending” as well as Exclude “closed a sale in the last 90 days.” See if anyone on this list needs extra attention.
