Printing Policy (Effective April 2024)

The new printing policy, effective April 1, 2024, grants agents a quarterly print allotment, with overages billed, specifies costs for exceeding the allotment, and highlights free scanning; unused allotments do not carry over.

New Policy

Effective April 1, 2024, the new printing policy is as follows:

• No more Technology Fees for Stafford and Fredericksburg offices!
• All agents will receive a quarterly print allotment and will only be billed for prints/copies exceeding that amount.
• The quarterly allotment includes 300 Black/White prints/copies and 300 color prints/copies (overages billed quarterly).
• If an agent exceeds 300 prints/copies in a quarter, the costs are as follows:
  • Color: 12 cents per page
  • Black and white: 2 cents per page

See the examples below for sample calculations:

Example #1:

Agent prints 315 color pages and 400 black/white pages in the quarter.

They will be charged for 15 color pages and 100 black/white pages:

15 color prints × $0.12 = $1.80 100 black/white prints × $0.02 = $2.00

Total billed to agent: $3.80

Example #2:

Agent prints 290 color pages and 320 black/white pages in the quarter.

The agent will only be charged for the 20 black/white prints:

20 black/white prints × $0.02 = $0.40

Total billed to agent: $0.40

How can I print, make copies, or scan?

Printing will need to be through Infinity Cloud but making copies will be the same as before – through Papercut (entering a code on the printer)

How can I track my printing usage?

You can track your printing usage through the Self- Serve Portal of Infinity cloud. Please note  that since copying is still through Papercut, the usage for copies will not show on the Self-Serve Portal of Infinity cloud.

To track your printing usage, log into your Self-Service Portal on Infinity Cloud and select the Statistics tab from the left-side menu

Can unused printer allotment be carried over to the next quarter?

No, the printer allotment resets quarterly; unused prints do not carry over.

Can I transfer to another agent if I have not used the allotment during the quarter?

No. The allotment is specific to each agent and is tracked per user account. As such, it isn’t transferable to other agents.
